Event Opening
Friday, July 16, 5:00 - 10:00pm
Join us for the show's Opening on Friday July 16, beginning at 5pm at the Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery. We will have added a long tent in front of the gallery with additional gallery walls. With this additional space, we anticipate being able to hang two hundred paintings, with additional paintings to be rotated in as sales occur. The opening will be catered by two restaurants, and will feature water, wine and classical music.
The exhibit will remain open on Friday evening until 10pm. The show continues Saturday from 9am to 9pm and Sunday from 9am to 2pm.
'Quick Draw'
Saturday, July 17
On Saturday morning, RMPAP will hold its 'Quick Draw' event. Artists will be painting in a small, defined area of downtown Crested Butte from 10am until noon. Come watch fifty paintings being made at the same time!
From 12:30 until 1:30 pm the resulting paintings will be displayed and for sale in silent auction at the Oh-Be-Joyful Gallery. These paintings tend to be quite small; there are certain to be great, inexpensive little gems available through this auction.
Artist Appreciation Party
Saturday, July 17, beginning at 5:00pm
Saturday evening we will be hosting an informal artist appreciation party, starting at 5pm. Join the artists in celebration of a big week of painting in Crested Butte. |
