Each year the American Tonalist Society holds an exhibition featuring an exceptional selection of subjects and emotions in tonalist paintings.

From over 500 entries, a panel of professional judges chooses 60 works to represent the best of tonalism in today’s working artists.

This year, OBJ artist Denise LaRue Mahlke took the exhibition’s Honorable Mention award for her piece “Touch of Glory” featured above.
